The left is known for creating heroes out of thin air, but their heroes often lack depth and authenticity. The article delves into the controversial reinstatement of one of the Tennessee III members, Justin Pearson, who has reinvented himself as a civil rights figure from the 1960s, using language that reflects his alignment with the left’s beliefs. However, his speech has been criticized for its sacrilegious and bizarre nature. His expulsion come from the left’s push for males to compete in women’s sports and a trans-shooter who killed 6 people, including 3 children, at a Christian school in Nashville.

The Left's Shallow Heroes: the Tennessee III

Efficiently dubbed “The Tennessee Three” by the media, these individuals have been celebrated and almost deified after staging an insurrection in the Capitol building, resulting in their expulsion from the Tennessee State House. On Monday, one of the members, Justin Jones, was sworn back in as an interim representative for the 52nd district, thanks to the Nashville Metropolitan Council’s decision to reinstate him, bypassing the Republicans in the legislature. As of Wednesday, Justin Pearson has also been reinstated.

This turn of events leaves the Republicans with no choice but to pass a law prohibiting anyone expelled from the House from serving again in state government. It is imperative for the Republicans to play hardball in this situation, or they risk losing credibility. If they fail to pass the law, they will have given Jones unnecessary attention, and he will become a martyr, only to return to the legislature once again. The reinstatement of “The Tennessee Three” has significant political implications, and the Republicans must act wisely to prevent further damage to their reputation.

Despite the possibility of reinstatement for both members, one of “The Tennessee Three,” Justin Pearson, has already embraced his newfound status as a hero and martyr. However, even if they are reinstated, their status among the left as heroes and martyrs will remain unchanged, unless they take a position that is contrary to the left’s beliefs, which seems unlikely with this crew.

Pearson has even reinvented himself, both in appearance and speech, as a civil rights figure from the 1960s, using the language of modern-day leftism. Recently, he delivered a speech at a Memphis Unitarian Universalist Church, a non-Christian denomination that has been described by some as “Satanist.”

During his speech, Pearson made controversial statements that reflect his alignment with the left’s beliefs.

“Well y’all, I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord.
I’m so glad to be in the house of the Lord with you this morning.
Would you mind going ahead and praying with me now, mother God, creator God, loving God,
holy God, take this your servant made from dust and connect it with the raw materials
of Stardust to speak in this moment, to say something that brings forward the word you
placed into my heart, I accept my unworthiness for such a task as bold as this, and I seek
your guidance as you use me and speak through me.
To the ancestor preachers who made sermons from hymns, moans and groans, and spirituals
from the bondage of slavery, speak now through this your descendant.”

Justin Pearson’s Speech and Persona Reinvention

Pearson, one of “The Tennessee Three,” attempted to speak like a biblical prophet in the Old Testament, but quickly transitioned into using language reminiscent of a middle-aged white woman reading tarot cards. He made references to “mother God”which is about as offensive to Christians as someone can be. Pearson also suggested that we are all “connected by the raw material of Stardust”. His speech is no doubt bizarre and sacrilegious, with a strong hint of paganism.

However, it is important to note that Pearson has only recently adopted this persona and is still working out the kinks. Comparisons between a video of Pearson as a young college student in 2016 and his recent speech have been making the rounds on social media, highlighting the extent to which he has reinvented himself. Check out Tucker Carlson’s take on this video below.

It is also important to remember that the ‘Tennessee III’ are gaining fame on the left due to a shooter who identified as transgender and killed three children. The shooter’s alleged manifesto has yet to be seen, leading most on the right to ask the question “why?” It raises concerns that anti-Second Amendment advocates will join forces with the Tennessee III and forget about the lives lost to this heinous crime.

The Threat to Women’s Sports

The left’s heroes, exemplified by the Tennessee III, are shallow and inauthentic. While society needs its heroes and champions, the left’s heroes lack substance and are usually morally repulsive. Additionally, the left’s push for the intrusion of males into female sports threaten the very existence of women’s sports.

The Biden administration is rolling out new Title IX rules that expand the definition of sexual discrimination to include gender identity, which would prevent schools and colleges from banning transgender athletes. This follows the administration’s announcement during the week six Christians were killed by a shooter who identified as transgender, as “the most dangerous week for transgender individuals in America.” Followed by a “Trans Day of Visibility.” Let me make this clear, Christians are under attack in America.
